This is the first in a series of not-for-sale paintings I am creating for a spring 2010 show. They are all done in my typical Stained-Glass-Canvas style. The name of the series is Christian Symbols and Icons.
About Jim Harris
My philosophy of art is simple: I paint what I find fun or inspiring; if someone else is moved by it, that's great! Very nice Jim....curious to know what the triangle means in Christianity.

So glad you asked. The triangle in Christianity is a symbol of the Trinity, God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; a core belief of our faith. We say simply that God is "3 in 1", one God in three forms simultaneously.
