I always smile when I hear this song, it expresses how I feel nearly every morning when I awake. It’s a sunny day...even when the sky is overcast. This is a "quilted-canvas" work created for my "Painting the Beatles" solo show.
My philosophy of art is simple: I paint what I find fun or inspiring; if someone else is moved by it, that's great! I derive great joy from selling my original paintings to people who truly love them! Since 2015 I have been giving most of my original paintings to non-profit community-building and religious organizations to assist in their fund-raising efforts via a new effort I have started called Art is Mission (AiM).
