This is based on a view of the sun setting beyond the peak of the Massanutten Mountain (as seen from near Island Ford, Virginia). It is done in my unique Stained-Glass-Canvas style, but also bears a resemblance to a quilt.
My philosophy of art is simple: I paint what I find fun or inspiring; if someone else is moved by it, that's great! I derive great joy from selling my original paintings to people who truly love them!
