I started this one a few weeks ago then put it aside and forgot about it. I found it today and decided to finish it. This is from a photo I took many years ago. I don't remember when I was when I saw this cat sleeping on an old rocking chair. She looks so comfy and sure that this is where she belongs that I decided to title it "Rocker Queen".
My philosophy of art is simple: I paint what I find fun or inspiring; if someone else is moved by it, that's great! I derive great joy from selling my original paintings to people who truly love them! Since 2015 I have been giving most of my original paintings to non-profit community-building and religious organizations to assist in their fund-raising efforts via a new effort I have started called Art is Mission (AiM).
